Whoever commits assault with a dangerous weapon by discharging a firearm, large capacity weapon, rifle, shotgun, sawed-off shotgun or machine gun with the intent to physically harm a police officer, shall be punished by imprisonment in a state prison for no less than 25 years and up to any term of years.
