This bill prohibits discrimination based on an employee's status as a victim of abusive behavior in the employment context. It requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure employees are able to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and address the situation, while remaining productive in the workplace. It also amends the existing Abusive Behavior Leave Law to be consistent with new definitions.
