Labor and Workforce Development

Increases minimum wage from $15 to $20 an hour and increases the tipped minimum wage from $6.75 to $12 an hour over 5 years, fully implementing by 2030. After 2030, the minimum wage shall be adjusted annually using the consumer price index and the tipped minimum wage shall be adjusted to remain 60 percent of the minimum wage. The minimum wage statute is changed to clarify that it applies to both public and private employers.
