This bill establishes an Amputation Prevention Task Force, to be ran by EOHHS, chaired by the secretary and composed of state officials, legislators, medical experts, and public representatives, with a focus on diversity. The task force will advise on strategies to prevent amputations related to diabetic foot ulcers and peripheral arterial disease, promote public awareness, and encourage stakeholder collaboration. It will also recommend policy solutions to improve access to treatments.
