This bill would create a regulatory framework for improving and maintaining indoor air quality, empowering DPH to take steps to reduce the spread of disease, the dangers of respiratory conditions, and other indoor air pollutants. The Department of Public Health will develop a comprehensive plan to set priorities, develop practices, collect related data, identify sources of contamination, and oversee necessary reificatory measures taken with the goal of improving IAQ.
