An Act to ensure cleaner air for communities overburdened by outdoor air pollution

Direct DEP to establish an advisory committee that will establish air pollution hotspots. The committee will recommend filtration and funding sources to eligible buildings such as schools, hospitals, and other locations within these hotspots. DEP will then install air monitors in eight hotspots to establish a baseline level of pollution, which will be used to set target levels of pollution for the next 9 years. DEP will then be directed to implement policies to meet these targets.
