Calls for the establishment of a statewide blue alert system in Massachusetts, designed to aid in locating individuals linked to serious injury or death incidents involving law enforcement personnel, such as police officers and state troopers. Further seeks to amend Section 18¾ of Chapter 6A of the General Laws to facilitate the development of this alert system. The implementation of the system is to be coordinated by the executive office of public safety.
