Establishes a rebuttable presumption with respect to any disability retirement or workers' compensation claim relative to the death or disability of a full-time uniformed member of a municipal police, fire, or EMS department that has been suffered in the line of duty. This presumption can be challenged with a preponderance of the evidence.

The provisions will also apply to conditions such as hepatitis A, B, or C, tuberculosis, HIV, COVID, and any other contagious disease deemed by the Department of Public Health to have a statistically significant correlation with police, fire, or emergency medical service.
