This bill adds a new section to MGL that establishes that the disability or death of police, fire or various other public safety personnel resulting from PTSD is presumed to have been suffered in the line of duty. It would exempt cases where PTSD was pre-existing, unrelated to service, or resulting from any disciplinary action or change in job status.
