An Act relative to transparency in credit card fees

This bill allows Massachusetts businesses to charge customers a fee to cover the cost of credit card processing fees — fees imposed by credit card companies and banks to process card transactions — provided that the surcharge amount is not greater than the actual cost to the seller and is posted prominently on their premises and website.
