The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs is required to promulgate initial EV charger reliability regulations and the Division of Standards is required to promulgate initial inventory, accuracy, and pricing regulations for EV charges. This bill shifts the applications of the initial regulations from chargers installed on or after June 1, 2026 to chargers installed on or after March 30, 2023, the effective date of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program standards and requirements rules.
