Municipal Electric Company

When municipalities seek to purchase electrical infrastructure in order to form municipal electric companies, private and/or investor-owned utilities hold a veto over the ability to execute the purchase. This bill would remove the veto and place the purchase authority back in the hands of municipalities and their rate payers.
