This legislation seeks to amends Section 1D – the section regarding statewide education goals and academic standards - of chapter 69 of the General Laws. This legislation adds to the existing academic standards sufficient instruction on the histories, roles, and contributions of LGBTQ+ persons in the history of the country and Massachusetts.
