This legislation creates a special commission to study and make recommendations on establishing a statewide long-term services and supports (LTSS) benefit program. Under the bill, the Commission would be required to utilize the findings from the actuarial study - authorized in the FY24 budget (line item 4000-0300) and due out in 1st quarter 2025 - of public, private and public-private LTSS financing options when developing their recommendations.
