This bill would require: 1) manufacturers to provide copay assistance for prescription drugs without generic equivalents, 2) require health plans to pass at least 80% of rebates received from pharmaceutical companies on covered drug products to patients via lower copayments at the pharmacy counter, 3) Require EOHHS and HPC to assess the barriers to gene and cell therapies that could exist for MassHealth beneficiaries in the next decade, 4) an assessment of adequacy of existing reimbursement frameworks and methodologies
