Licensing limits

This bill sets out explicit limits on the number of licenses a controlling entity can hold. Specifically, it restricts entities to owning no more than six marijuana retailer licenses, three medical marijuana treatment center licenses, three marijuana product manufacturer licenses, and three marijuana cultivator licenses. The bill further aims to promote diversity and inclusion by prioritizing license transfers to businesses owned by social equity candidates, women, minorities, or veterans.
