Amending the Career Ladder Program

This legislation seeks to amend the legislatively authorized (and funded) Career Ladder Program to: Expand the pathway program to include licensed practical nurse (“LPN”) to registered nurse (“RN”), as the program is currently limited to certified nursing assistant to licensed practical nurse CNA to LPN); and expand funding for LPN training to include vocational schools, as the program is currently limited to community colleges.
