This bill establishes a comprehensive health coverage program under MassHealth for Massachusetts residents under the age of 21 who are otherwise ineligible for qualification due to their immigration status with benefits equivalent to the benefits received by their counterparts of like age and income. The bill directs the Executive Office of Health and Human Services to seek maximum federal funding for these benefits, although the provision of these benefits will be guaranteed regardless of whether that funding is secured.
