5/15/2020 1:00 PM This event is a virtual bill hearing and listening session of the Joint Committee on Elder Affairs. The committee will first receive testimony on H4697 "An Act providing for cash assistance to certain persons over 65 years of age who stopped working as a result of COVID-19 or stay-at-home advisory." Next, the committee will invite testimony on the impact of COVID-19 on elders in the Commonwealth. For both portions of the event, oral testimony will be limited to three minutes per person, and will be accepted only from those who sign up in advance using the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/U9fu8NzGhzrVkiRMA. All written testimony should also be submitted using the Google Form, and will be accepted through Monday, May 18th at 9:00am.
