Event Description: The Massachusetts House Committee on Technology and Intergovernmental Affairs and the Massachusetts Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security will be holding a joint public hearing featuring presentations by members of the Bay Path University faculty, including: Dr. Carol Leary, President of Bay Path University; Dr. Lawrence Snyder, Director of the Bay Path Cyber Security and Computer Science Program; Delcie D. Bean, founder and CEO of Paragus Strategic IT; and Richard Sullivan, President and CEO of the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts. The hearing will also feature presentations by Leyla Aliyeva, Head Advisor in the Cyber Security Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as members of the Nichols College faculty, including: Kerry Calnan, Executive Director of Graduate and Professional Studies; and Retired Brigadier General Paul Smith, who was the Joint Task Force Commander of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing Response.
