NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (IN-PERSON TESTIMONY BY INVITATION ONLY) on the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home COVID-19 Outbreak with a focus on best practices and procedures for twenty-four seven long term care facilities

The Special Committee will be holding a public hearing pertaining to the Board of Trustees of the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home, with live testimony (provided virtually) by invitation only.

The hearing will be a general inquiry with medical experts and examine best practices for the operation of twenty four seven healthcare facilities. The committee seeks to understand how the similar institutions in the private sector operate. Examining the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home through this lens will allow the Special Committee to form recommendations in line with the rest of the industry.
