Event Description: Discussion with Secretary Yvonne Hao of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development.

The Joint Committee on Economic Development & Emerging Technologies will host a hearing on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 2:30PM, featuring testimony from Secretary Yvonne Hao of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development.

This is a hybrid listening session in which Secretary Hao introduces herself to the Committee. Testimony will feature a discussion of Governor Healey's economic development priorities and plans as well as updates on budgetary and tax legislation relevant to the economic development of the Commonwealth. Testimony is invite only and limited to the Secretary. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion from Committee members.

Committee members should expect an email from LIS with instructions for joining the hearing via Teams if they are unable to attend in person. Hearing packets will not be available as there are no bills assigned for this informational hearing.
