PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Inaugural meeting of the 21st Century Agriculture Commission including remarks from Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll and MDAR Commissioner Ashley Randle

The 21st Century Agriculture Commission will host it’s first meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 to study the needs of agriculture in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the 21st Century, addressing the issues of viability, efficiency, climate change resiliency, education & workforce development, technical & legislative assistance and other needs of farms as we move through the 21st Century. The Commission will discuss the objectives and proposed timeline to complete their report. The Commission will also hear from guest speakers Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll and Commission Member & Massachusetts Department of Agriculture Commissioner Ashley Randle.

Written comments will be accepted by email.

This Task Force meeting will be held virtually and livestreamed for the public via www.malegislature.gov.
