Event Description

Examination of the Effects of Private Equity Ownership and Investment in Health Care

Please be advised that the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing will hold an oversight hearing on the effects of private equity ownership and investment in health care on MONDAY, MARCH 25 from 10:00 AM to 4:00PM in ROOM A-1. This hearing will be streamed live and archived under the Hearings & Events section of the legislative website.

The purpose of the hearing is for committee members to explore why and how private equity firms invest in health care, the impact of private equity across various health care segments, federal action, and state policy levers to ensure that health care is safe, affordable, and accessible for Massachusetts residents.
