Event Description

Public Hearing Notice Ninth meeting of the 21st Century Agriculture Commission to review & discuss reports & recommendations drafted by the Commission’s Recommendation Drafting Groups. Commission members were assigned to three groups: Climate Change, Education and Technical Assistance, and Farm Energy and were tasked with researching certain hearing topics in more depth and proposing recommendations to be considered for the Commission’s final report. At the hearing, each group will present their recommendations.

The 21st Century Agriculture Commission will host its ninth hearing on July 15th, 2024, to review the reports of its Recommendation Drafting Groups. Commission members assigned to each group will report back to the chairs on the findings of their work.

This Commission meeting will be held virtually and livestreamed for the public via https://malegislature.gov/.

Commission Members will hear testimony from Recommendation Drafting Groups only. All other groups and individuals that would like to submit testimony or other comments/questions to the Commission are encouraged to do so through Lucas McDiarmid (Lucas.McDiarmid@MAhouse.gov) in Chair Hogan’s office and Rachel Klein (Rachel.Klein@masenate.gov) in Chair Comerford’s office.
