Strength in Support:

A networking and resource-sharing event with employed youth & young adults with disabilities, personal care assistants, job coaches, and inclusive workplaces

On Monday, June 23rd, 2025, the MA Permanent Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities will host a hybrid event at the Massachusetts State House and on zoom focused and will bring together youth & young adults with disabilities, direct support professionals, and job coaches to share stories, resources, and strategies for advancing equitable employment opportunities across the Commonwealth.

WHAT:

Hosted by the Commission’s Disability Employment and Workforce Supports subcommittees, this hybrid event will feature powerful firsthand stories, panel discussions, and practical strategies to strengthen employment pathways for youth and young adults with disabilities across the Commonwealth. Participants will include workers with disabilities, employment supports professionals, and career coaches. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with community partners, explore resources, and learn how inclusive employment practices benefit everyone.
