Event Description: The Special Legislative Commission on 21st Century Agriculture - Final Meeting

The Special Legislative Commission on 21st Century Agriculture will hold its final public hearing to vote to formally adopt the Commission’s Final Report.

The hearing will be livestreamed on the malegislature.gov website.

The Commission has held nine public hearings, conducted research, and investigated the 21st Century needs of agriculture in the Commonwealth. The culmination of this work is summarized in the Commission’s final report, which also includes recommendations related to Climate & Natural Disasters, Technical Assistance & Education, Farm Energy, Economic & Community Development, and Food Security. The hearing will include brief remarks from the Commission’s co-chairs and a formal vote on the adoption of the report.

This Commission meeting will be held virtually and live-streamed for the public via malegislature.gov.
