Event Description

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Joint Committee on Advanced Information Technology, the Internet and Cybersecurity is conducting a hybrid public hearing on bills related to artificial intelligence and algorithms. The hearing is scheduled to last from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Individuals planning to testify virtually must sign up no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, September 8 using THIS FORM. The Committee will take signups to testify on the day of the hearing, but to ensure the Committee can hear from as many individuals as possible, we ask that you please sign up in advance. Oral testimony will be limited to 3 minutes, but longer statements will be accepted by written testimony until Monday, September 15 at 5:00 PM.

Please be advised that the schedule and agenda are subject to change at the agreement of the Chairs. All matters filed in the House that are listed above are required to be reported on by, November 10, 2025, subject to extensions consistent with House Rule 27.
The public is invited to participate in this hybrid hearing, which will be livestreamed on the General Court website, https://malegislature.gov/.
