Federal Funding and Policy Impacts on Emergency Preparedness, Management, and Recovery

The Joint Committee on Emergency Preparedness & Management will host an informational, invite-only hearing regarding the ongoing federal policy and funding changes related to emergency preparedness and management.

The Committee will be inviting subject-matter experts to provide testimony on how recent federal executive actions, proposed policy and regulatory changes, as well as the reduction and elimination of federal funding may impact disaster management and recovery in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This hearing will be chaired by House Chair Steven Ultrino, with the House Committee on Federal Funding, Policy and Accountability joining as guests.

Written Testimony

While in-person participants are limited to those invited by the Committee, members of the public or impacted organizations may submit testimony to the Claudia Chung at Claudia.Chung@MAHouse.gov. The Chairs kindly request that those submitting written testimony include “EP&M COMMITTEE TESTIMONY” in the email subject line, and provide the Committee with the following:
