Event Description

Informational Hearing: Impacts of Federal Funding Cuts and Federal Policy Changes on Municipalities and Regional Planning

The House Committee on Federal Funding, Policy and Accountability will host an informational, invite-only hearing on the effect of changes to federal policy and cuts to federal funding on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Committee will be inviting experts to provide testimony on the impacts of federal policy changes and federal funding cuts are having across the Commonwealth on municipalities and regional planning efforts.

Please be advised that the schedule and agenda are subject to change at the discretion of the chair per committee rules.

This hearing will be chaired by Chair Kathleen LaNatra, with the Joint Committee on Municipalities and Regional Government invited as guests.

The public is welcome to attend in-person or watch the livestream broadcast on https://malegislature.gov/Events. While hearing participants are limited to invited speakers of the Committee, members of the public or impacted organizations can submit written testimony to the Chair’s office at matthew.marcil@mahouse.gov.
