Event Description: The state’s Civil Infraction Commission, as established pursuant to Section 54 of the Acts of 2005, will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, April 26, at 2 p.m., in Room 413 of the State House. Anticipated topics include the following:

1. Consideration of two classes of misdemeanors, “A” and “B”:

a. How to decide whether or not to recommend this approach?
b. If so, what criteria to use in selecting specific charges?
c. Full decriminalization vs. simple removal of incarceration as a possibility?

2. Timeline for producing a report
