Event Description: The state’s Civil Infraction Commission, as established pursuant to Section 54 of the Acts of 2005, will be holding a public meeting on Monday, November 7, at 2 p.m., in Room 413 of the State House. Anticipated topics include the following:

1. The Commission is expected to hold preliminary votes on recommendations regarding reclassification of a number of existing misdemeanors, as either “B” misdemeanors (non-jailable) or civil infractions.:

2. Discussion of steps toward final recommendations, and timeline for upcoming meetings and producing a report.
