The Task Force on Integrity in State and Local Government will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Hearing Room A2 of the Massachusetts State House. The agenda items are: :

1. A review of each issue identified by the members of the Task Force on Integrity in State and Local Government;

2. A review of State Ethics Commission’s comments on issues identified by the members of the Task Force.

Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Resolves of 2016, the Task Force’s purpose is to conduct an investigation and study of the existing legal and regulatory framework governing the conduct of state, county and municipal elected officials and appointed public employees, including a review of: (i) the Conflict of Interest Law, Chapter 268A of the General Laws; (ii) the Financial Disclosure Law, Chapter 268B of the General Laws; and (iii) the regulations of the State Ethics Commission, 930 CMR 1.00 et seq., and associated processes.
