Event Description

Representative Ruth B. Balser, Senator Sal DiDomenico, Representative Denise Garlick, and Senator Jason Lewis are hosting the Trauma and Learning Policy Initiative of Harvard Law School as they hold a legislative briefing entitled Students Speak: Humanizing our School Communities. At the briefing, secondary school students from across the Commonwealth will share their perspectives on what they need in order to do well in school and why now is a critical moment to prioritize funding for Safe and Supportive Schools. Representatives from the Gateway Regional School District Middle-High School in Huntington, MA will be present to share about their work to elevate student voice as a recipient of a Safe and Supportive Schools Grant.
