Section 147G: Additional penalties

Section 147G. In addition to any penalties otherwise prescribed in sections one hundred and forty-four to one hundred and forty-seven H, inclusive, any employer or his agent who, without having in his possession a valid employer's permit, delivers or causes to be delivered to another person any materials for manufacture or to be worked upon by industrial homework, or who refuses to allow the attorney general or his authorized representative to enter his place of business for the purpose of making any investigation authorized by any provision of said sections one hundred and forty-four to one hundred and forty-seven H, inclusive, or necessary to carry out any provision thereof, or who refuses to permit the attorney general or his authorized representative to inspect or copy the pay roll or other records or documents relating to the enforcement of said sections, or who falsifies such records or documents or any statement which he is required by the attorney general or said representative, acting under authority of said sections, to make, or who otherwise violates any provision of said sections or any provision of his permit, shall be punished by a fine of not less than three hundred nor more than three thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than two months, or both.
