Joint Statement on Fiscal Year 2025 Closeout Supplemental Budget
November 17, 2025(BOSTON—11/17/2025) Today, Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Chair of the House Committee on Ways and Means, and Senator Michael J. Rodrigues, Chair of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means, issued the following statement regarding the Fiscal Year 2025 Closeout Supplemental Budget.
“On behalf of our fellow conferees, we are happy to announce that we have reached an agreement on the Fiscal Year 2025 closeout supplemental budget. Prior to the filing of the conference committee report, the conference committee will reconvene today at 2:00 PM in Room #212 to formalize the agreement. The House and Senate will act swiftly to send a bill to the Governor that ensures the programs and services our residents rely on are adequately funded and responsibly closes the books on FY 2025.”
