By Representative Harrington of Groton and Senator Donoghue, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3335) of Sheila C. Harrington and Eileen Donoghue (by vote of the town) for legislation to authorize the transfer of a certain parcel of land in the town of Groton. Municipalities and Regional Government. Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately allow the grant of conservation restrictions encumbering the parcels of land described herein to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
