By Mr. Smola of Warren, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4010) of Todd M. Smola, Donald R. Berthiaume, Jr., and Anne M. Gobi (by vote of the town) for legislation to authorize Christopher Scott Romani to take the civil service examination for appointment as a police officer in the town of Ware, notwithstanding the maximum age requirement. Public Service. [Local Approval Received.]

Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to set forth with exempt Christopher Scott Romani from the maximum, age requirement for applying for Civil Service appointment as a Police Officer in the Town of Ware, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
