Proposals for Amendments to the Massachusetts Constitution

The public is invited to participate in this hybrid hearing, which will be livestreamed on the General Court website: https://malegislature.gov/

Please be advised that the schedule and agenda are subject to change at the agreement of the Chairs.

Proposals for Amendments to the Constitution are required to be reported on by April 30, 2025.

All written testimony received by the committee will be made publicly available. At the discretion of the Chairs and per committee rules, limitations and redactions shall exist for sharing testimony that includes sensitive personal information or information that may jeopardize the health, wellness or safety of the testifier or others.

Any person submitting written testimony may request such testimony remain private and said testimony will not be made publicly available.

All those wishing to testify in person may sign up on the day of the hearing but are encouraged to sign up ahead of time at the link here by 5 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025.

For those testifying remotely, you will receive a Microsoft Teams link with more information prior to the start of the hearing.

This hearing will be chaired by Senate Chair Julian Cyr.
