Continuing education for real estate brokers

This language is intended to update the real estate licensing law’s provision on continuing education, while maintaining all current statutory requirements including minimum hours, subject-matter, and curriculum certification. Like many professions, the practice of real estate has changed dramatically over the last twenty-three years, while continuing education has remained static. Consistent with language in the licensing laws for other professions, this change to the real estate licensing law will increase the flexibility of the real estate board to bring continuing education more in-line with today’s world and stay up-to-date with future developments in the profession.
