Event Description: The Committee on Financial Services will hold a hearing on bills related to consumer protection, credit unions and housing.

Committee members should expect an email from LIS with instructions for joining the virtual hearing and inviting them to a test run of the Teams hearing platform. Hearing packets will be available prior to the hearing. The committee reporting deadline under Joint Rule 10 for the matters being heard is June 15, 2025.

Under committee rules written testimony will be made available upon request.

The public is invited to participate in person or via online. All persons seeking to provide oral testimony must pre-register via this (link)

The deadline to pre-register is 5:00 P.M. on Friday, April 11th. Once registered, you will receive further instructions on how to participate.

The chairs will limit testimony to 3 minutes per speaker. Please be advised that the schedule and agenda are subject to change at the discretion of the chair per Committee rules.
