AN ACT AUTHORIZING DANIEL WESINGER TO TAKE THE CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION FOR FIREFIGHTER IN THE TOWN OF ARLINGTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment, Daniel Wesinger shall be eligible to take the open competitive examination for appointment as a f irefighter in the town of Arlington and shall be eligible for appointment to that position if he meets all other requirements.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage and shall expire on December 31, 2012.
