The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND IN THE TOWN OF SALISBURY AS THE REVEREND THOMAS B. MORGAN SQUARE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain portion of land in the town of Salisbury as the Reverend Thomas B. Morgan Square, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

A certain portion of land at the intersection of United States highway route 1A, also known as Beach road, and Ferry road in the town of Salisbury shall be designated and known as the Reverend Thomas B. Morgan Square, in recognition of his many years of community service. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with applicable state and federal standards.

Approved, November 29, 2011.
