AN ACT VALIDATING CERTAIN ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE OLD COLONY REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATIVE TO CERTAIN BORROWING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, district agreement provision, town by-law or town meeting vote to the contrary, all actions taken by the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District to authorize the borrowing of $2,500,000 to replace the Old Colony school building urethane foam roof and to renovate the existing science laboratory located at 476 North avenue in the town of Rochester, including the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto on April 15, 2011, and all actions taken by the member towns of Acushnet, Carver, Lakeville, Mattapoisett, and Rochester to approve of such debt, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed and such debt may be issued by the district without the taking of any further action by the district or the member towns.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
