AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT OF THOMAS J. OSLEY, THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE TOWN OF HATFIELD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Thomas J. Osley, chief of the police department of the town of Hatfield, may continue to serve in that position until June 30, 2017, or until the date of his retirement or until his non-reappointment, whichever first occurs.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, November 1, 2012.
