AN ACT EXEMPTING JEANINE BONNAYER FROM THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR APPLYING FOR CIVIL SERVICE APPOINTMENT AS A POLICE OFFICER IN THE TOWN OF WARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary regulating the maximum age of an applicant for appointment as a police officer, Jeanine Bonnayer of the town of Ware, shall be eligible to have her name certified for original appointment to the position of police officer in the town of Ware, notwithstanding her having reached the age of 32 before taking the civil service examination in connection with that appointment. Jeanine Bonnayer shall be eligible for appointment to the position of police officer in the town of Ware provided that she meets all other requirements for certification and appointment to this position.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
