AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED TAXATION AID COMMITTEE IN THE TOWN OF HARVARD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the board of selectmen of the town of Harvard may appoint an elderly and disabled taxation aid committee consisting of: (1) the council on aging director of the town of Harvard, who may or may not be a resident of the town; (2) the town treasurer; and (3) 3 residents of the town of Harvard.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, September 3, 2013.
