AN ACT VALIDATING THE ACTIONS TAKEN AT AN ANNUAL TOWN MEETING AND ELECTION HELD IN THE TOWN OF ESSEX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 9A and 10 of chapter 39 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or town by-law to the contrary, all acts, proceedings and votes taken by the town of Essex at its May 4, 2015 town meeting and May 11, 2015 annual town election, and all actions taken pursuant to and in reliance on the town meeting and election, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the town had complied with all statutory requirements for posting the warrant for the town meeting and election.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
