The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT AUTHORIZING NANTUCKET COUNTY TO CONVEY CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND TO THE TOWN OF NANTUCKET.

     Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
     SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Nantucket county may convey the following parcels of land to the town of Nantucket for open space, recreational or conservation purposes:
     (i)  assessors’ map 60, parcel 3, Massachusetts avenue;
     (ii)  assessors’ map 36.2.3, parcel 51, New York avenue;
     (iii)  assessors’ map 36.2.3, parcel 54, New York avenue;
     (iv)  assessors’ map 36.2.3, parcel 74, Wisconsin avenue;
     (v)  assessors’ map 55.1.4, parcel 9.1, 100 Washington street;
     (vi)  assessors’ map 55.1.4, parcel 9.2, 98 Washington street;
     (vii)  assessors’ map 60.2.4, parcel 5, 6 Massachusetts avenue;
     (viii)  assessors’ map 60.3.1, parcel 84, 25 Massachusetts avenue;
     (ix)  assessors’ map 60, parcel 160, 0 Esther Island;
     (x)  assessors’ map 61, parcel 1, 0 Esther Island;
     (xi)  assessors’ map 61, parcel 2, 0 Esther Island; and
     (xii)  a portion of parcel P-2, shown on plan 49-O filed in the Nantucket county registry of deeds, adjacent to 121 Washington street.
     SECTION 2.  Chapter 30B of the General Laws and any rights of first refusal in the commonwealth pursuant to section 14 of chapter 34 of the General Laws shall not apply to any conveyance authorized in this act.
     SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
