AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE IN THE TOWN OF BECKET.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4 of chapter 662 of the acts of 1989, as most recently amended by section 2 of chapter 475 of the acts of 2008, is hereby further amended by striking out clause (n).
SECTION 2. Said section 4 of said chapter 662, as amended by said section 2 of said chapter 475, is hereby further amended by striking out clause (p).
SECTION 3. Said section 4 of said chapter 662 is hereby further amended by striking out clauses (v) and (w), added by section 2 of said chapter 475, and inserting in place thereof the following 3 clauses:-
(v) treasurer, for a term of 3 years
(w) tax collector, for a term of 3 years
(x) parks and recreation committee.
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
